SURVIVOR STORY: PAINTING TO LIVE
Introduction
“Please no! Please give him back! Give him back! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!" That’s the sound of a soldier taking an infant from a mother and crushing him with his bare hands. No human deserves this kind of brutality and cruelty. Khmer Rouge, a group of communists proposed to make Cambodia pure and without any social classes. To purify Cambodia, he exterminated the whole country. There are different ways to make a country pure other than killing off people.
Conclusion
So instead of giving back to the mother, they killed the baby and punished the mother. Khmer Rouge way of purifying a country is cruel and wrong. They could have created a wall around the city to clear out the people they did not
want. In result, he killed 2 million innocent people and did not change anything about the country.
